After obtaining a degree in Civil Engineering from the American University of Beirut and an MBA from INSEAD in France, Minister Issa El Khoury spent several years working in investment banks in Paris and Beirut, where he held various positions.
His experience enabled him to serve on the boards of several institutions in different countries. His professional responsibilities have covered a wide range of areas, including portfolio and wealth management, project finance, corporate restructuring, mergers and acquisitions, capital markets, and real estate investment.
On a personal level, Minister Issa El Khoury served for many years as President of the INSEAD Alumni Association in Lebanon, Secretary-General of the Lebanese Businessmen Association, and Vice President of the Maronite League.
Minister Issa El Khoury is married and has two children. He speaks French, English, and Arabic, and is fluent in Spanish.
